Sim Rollback Policy

I have been receiving a number of requests for my intervention in either fixing an issue that the AI did (cutting players because you are over the cap or roster limit, or going below the minimum roster limit and the AI messing up rosters). Unfortunately, there is not a simple way to undo these things, and rolling back a league is a fairly major undertaking on my part. Because every time I have to handle one of these situations it literally takes 2-3 days of development time away, I am going to have to implement a policy that sim rollbacks will only be done if there is a major bug in the code that causes something to go completely awry. This would have to be something that was completely unexpected and the engine behaving in a way that it was not intended.

If you feel that there are situations that the engine handles as designed that should change or give league admins more power to fix these situations, there is a forum for that and I encourage discussions there about how things should change to fix those issues in the future; unfortunately, though, I am going to have to make a policy that I cannot roll back or intervene with any league except in the most extreme of circumstances. The only exception to this rule will be that I will adjust a teams' dead cap at the request of the league admin.

Thank you for your understanding and hopefully this will help the game move forward at a better pace.

Are you posting this because you changed some stuff? Some odd results last night, especially in mfn74 playoff games...

No, I won't make any changes without announcing them. Especially non-beta leagues will only get critical bug fixes during an existing season.
