New MFN? Old MFN?

So a few weeks back I get an strange E-mail about MFN. It was a fun game had some issues but I enjoyed it for the most part. Sat on it, got some time now, so why not they got a new version. Looks like the are needing HUMANS. It appears that the cliques are still around. makes me wonder about the cheating?

yes. humans. needed.

most league admins are starting to try to stop the "cheating". it's league by league, so check the rules specific to the league you want to join. i am in a lot of leagues and it seems like all of the owner/gms agree and comply with any anti-exploit rules that have been implemented.

As the public leagues have dwindled, we've seen less of the blatant multi-account and collusive trading issues than we used to.

In general, admins of custom and private leagues are recently becoming more interventionist and activist, which may or may not be a good thing (depending on their clique status or lack of it; and whether they have the ability to think for themselves or tolerate dissenting opinions). Particular and obvious "exploits" are being targeted, while deeper and more troubling ones are tolerated, ignored, enabled, or even encouraged in some cases. Apparently this does carry weight with jdb ... at least he's taking some of his attention away from working on the new version of mfn in order to finally try fixing punt blocks! :)

Does that answer your question?

I've seen more complicity (with much dissent and discussion) than agreement in the leagues I'm still in. Depends on the rules proposed and the methods used to determine, implement, and enforce those rules ...
