QBs Throwing A Lot of Interceptions

I have tried 2 different philosophies on trying to get my qbs not to throw a lot of into. One was to off course to practice against familiar plays my team is used to and successful against. The other is to practice against the plays the other teams defense uses a lot but my team is less familiar with.
Sometimes both philosophies can lead to throwing a lot of picks. Does it depend on what plays are called?

First of all, nice user name, Go Raiders although I am not a fan of Chucky. As for INTs, it could be any number of things and it's hard to pinpoint without seeing your roster. Does your QB have high accuracy? Are your receivers getting open or are they stuck in mud? Do you have a balance of run/pass or do you run exclusively passing plays from any offensive set? Defensively, I find it easier if my opponent always throws out of the 1-1-3 or whatever.

If you are satisfied with the answers to the questions above, analyze your offensive plays, perhaps change some.

Much like having a RB with a 100 avoid fumble, QBs with 100 accuracy will still throw INTs sometimes. Good luck to you.

Thanks. Yeah Gruden trying to be GM and coach. Not going to work. He's picking the players and not a good talent evaluator. Raiders making a mistake by giving him so much power

I describe the situation as Mark Davis has a HUGE man crush on Gruden, hence the big contract and the fact he still has his job today. I miss Jack Del Rio.

Setherick has some good info about such choices:

INTs are much more tied to Intelligence than they are Accuracy too. I refer to QBs with < 90 INT as Eli Mannings, and < 80 as Trent Dilfer
