Position Coaches

I have read about how the position coaches aren't really that big of a deal but I guess it is my OCD that I still want to try to find the best for my team that I can. What is the possibility that a percentage of "retired" players each year transfer into the coaching pool with whatever their "specialty" was show up boosted. A retired RB could have a 70+ rating in backfield. As I am trying to replace my backfield coach the best I can find for the unemployed is 61. Most of their position values are within five or so. Two cents. :)

That is a good idea. Players with high intelligence should become coaches after retiring.

It would be fun to hire your stud retiree as a fledging position coach. Good idea!

Another thing I would think that would be kind of cool is if your head coach had a coach development trait that would effect how quickly coaches under him would improve.

I like all of these suggestions, but until coaches actually do something other than (maybe) speed along a player's preset development path, I'm not sure if I can fully back them.

yeah but if people don't suggest ways to make coaches better then really it always be like it is right now so really doesn't hurt anything to suggest something like this and maybe if this does happen then maybe there will be new opportunities where the coaches do more than they do now.

basically to improve on something you do need to have a Outside of the Box thinking instead of inside of the Box where it has a chain around it thinking.
