Re: Mr.Krazy's MFN Wish-List

I have decided to create a wish list of what I want to see implemented, fixed, and overhauled in the game eventually.

I may update this list from time to time when I can think of more things I want to see in MFN.

All of these things are subjected to what I want to see in the game, so while your opinion is more than welcome, please keep it civil.

p.s. a * means that this is listed in the roadmap and is currently being tested or developed by JDB

-Overhaul WR/Secondary play: I thought I saw this in the roadmap at one point, don't know if this will be included in the next update or not.

*Weight should influence OL/DL play more.

-All positions have varying height and weight instead of having a set 'average' weight i.e RB's height are 5-10 to 6-2 and weight can vary between 195-225.

-Add a 'Ball Carrier Vision' attribute for RB's/FB's that affects the players ability to find open holes created by the offensive line.

-Add an 'Awareness' attribute to all positions that affects the players ability to move around more actively (zone coverages tend to zone out for 2 seconds and stay put. RB's sometimes 'stop' in the middle of a run, etc.)

*QB Timing Updates.

-Overhaul OL/DL play: In my perfect world, the OL Block, Strength, and Acceleration Attributes should be factored in against the DL Pass Rush, Speed, and Acceleration Attributes in that order to determine the outcome of OL vs. DL in the passing game.

-Erase the sideline sack bug.

-Fix the interception not counted after a hold bug.

-Add adjustable sliders for Timeouts in gameplanning to let the owner (or coaches) determine when Timeouts should be called (And make it an option to add rules to call TO in certain situations).

*Team Colors Preview.

*Overhaul player offers.

-Add team logos in the middle of the field and endzones.

-Add in the read option play to most or all playbooks.

-Add in Screen passes to most or all playbooks.

-Make coaches and their ratings influence player development and performance more.

*Player to Player Familiarity. (Along with player to player familiarity should be a 'Chemistry' rating or attribute when comparing players)

-Implement a 'Hall of Fame' and 'Pro Bowl' for all leagues.

-Add player profile pics in the player card.

*Increase negative impact of running the same play multiple times.

-Slow speed QB's should become pocket QB's (Overhauled OL/DL play would be required to make this work)

-Be able to create a limited amount of plays of your own (for Private or 'Pro' leagues only)

-Make player ratings matter: Low rated players should not be able to outperform high rated players (50 QB playing better than an 80 QB)

-Add a virtual combine.

*Waiver Wire

-Add a Practice Squad (or increase the # of players active on gameday to the 53 man roster)

-Add in occasional Trick Plays: Owners would not have the option of selecting these plays in their playbook. They would happen randomly, maybe at max a few times a season. Although it would be hard to code and perfect.

-Add an option to view the game fullscreen (only for players with more than 5 credits)

-Make QB Spike more probable in time management situations.

-Add in more stats (tackle for loss, pancakes, etc.)

-Add in option to search player stats by position.

-Erase the Holding penalty bug that happens on occasion immediately after the snap is taken.

-Make tackling less of an issue (players with low break tackle breaks multiple tackles frequently, players with high tackle ability missing tackles frequently, etc.)

-Add in a scoutable (and possibly playable) college league in which owners can scout a few games or players for the upcoming draft (In 'Private' or 'Pro' leagues only)

-Add in special weather effects

-Add in the ability to Franchise Tag 1 player per season if negotiations fail.

-Make offenses or defenses recognize and adjust to plays that are being overused (play called more than 5 times in one game)

-Slightly increase the length or probability of serious injuries

-Decrease false starts in unlikely positions (QB, WR, etc.)

-Slightly increase the chances or volatility of late round/undrafted players to boom or become successful.

Wow! You almost read my mind....but the way strength works in correlation with weight should be changed across the board. Not just limited to ol/DL interactions.

True, I was just trying to emphasize that Strength should be a big influence in OL/DL interaction.

But yes, Strength needs to be recalculated across all types of positions and interactions.

How about the ability to create a custom league and make it private so that me and a bunch of buddies can play?
By private, just password protected or something.

I just joined today though, but I like that this thread exists and that some things are already being worked on.
