Blocking Stats

This has probably been mentioned before, but it would help in evaluating O-linemen if we could see the number of pass blocks, run blocks, etc. on their stats page. Right now it seems very difficult to evaluate the effectiveness of a lineman because there are only penalties and sacks allowed. Coupled with their skill ratings it helps to give a good idea, but it would be nice to have that information at hand when looking at potential free agents or who may need to be cut.

+5 ... would also like to see Yards Per Catch for DBs, instead of Catch Allowed % only, there's a big difference in a DB who gives up an average of 6 ypc vs one that gives up 10. Another stat that would be nice to have is Tackles for Loss.

Right now he has the number of times a player engages in a block , pass or run, and the number of tackles allowed after that run or pass was disengaged . So that is something to start with.....when it will hit the team stat pages is up in the air. But most of these stats are available in the player awards by using the filters.

Still, it could be a twenty yard run and a linemen could get credit for allowing a tackle . ...so take stats as you will .
