i've thought about retiring as an athletic director and moonlighting as a consultant lol

from this thread = https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/forums/1/1105?page=2#9531

anyway back to topic the idea is College Football and High Schools should have a Athletic Director for their teams that decide what coaches to hire , what players to recruit , what coaches they should have to fire because of losing , what players to kick out of their school for grades or something else , etc.

there is 6 leagues that this would effect which are below.

College Football leagues

College Football = https://cfb.myfootballnow.com/
NCAA = https://ncaa-football.myfootballnow.com/ Bryson's 10s league
NCAA = https://ncaa.myfootballnow.com/ Not Bryson's League
NCAA 2.0 = https://ncaa2.myfootballnow.com/
NCAA-FCS = https://ncaa-fcs.myfootballnow.com/

High school leagues

High School = https://high-school.myfootballnow.com/

Or if that is not feasible for them because it would make a mess of them then have it where you can create a league where you can be the Athletic Director or the Athletic Director makes the decisions and you try your best to do well in the league.

In college there is no GM. Therefore, aren't the team owners playing the role of Athletic Director?

But if there was to be an Athletic Director to hire for those leagues you mention... then what would there be left to do as the team owner? Are you suggesting a pure team owner situation where you don't make roster decisions and leave those decisions to the Athletic Director you hire?

Or are you suggesting that there be an Athletic Director who is making moves with your team via suspensions and such that you can't control? Essentially dealing with issues that randomly effect your roster similarly to injuries?

they probably are just thought might be a easier way to having deal with cuts and the like

well they could still do things like coaching , recruit players to their team , etc.

well if this idea were to happen then Bryson's league he could have the AD do roster decisions or at least set it up like it wants it and he wouldnt have to tell people who to cut because they would cut .

well there should be suspensions and such to somewhat mirror what happens in real life though maybe instead of injuries for college and high school football leagues maybe have suspensions in place of injuries

We are basically owners of college programs within the rules of mfn but we refer to each as athletic directors to keep the college theme. I think it’s fine how it is but having multiple humans have coordinator positions might be fun. Mfn isn’t a college game so it’s hard to be college like within the pro rules. Thus we have unique rules that are specific only to our league.

Once the engine gets ironed out, it would be nice to see the game venture into the college and high school levels. With them tiered and linkable.

For example, I think it would be fun to be able to link Paydirt with Bryson10's NCAA league and his to Burnj76's high school league. Or even 3 tiered leagues of your own if your really ambitious. Players and GM/AD's careers would be fun to follow etc...... Oh the fun we could have. Theres so many wrinkles to the game that could be added in this scenario.

The big question is, would we ever need to go back to the real world or would we just live out or lives in virtual la-la land?

We have two leagues that we have linked to but it's just for looks to be honest. We have the FCS league have 10 transfers each season into the NCAA league and when guys graduate from NCAA we have some go otters league that he is the commissioner of. It's pretty cool cause there's a lot of crossover with owners so they get to follow a career of a player. In reality it's just renaming similar player likeness's in the new league each time but we have good imaginations, lol. I used to love ncaa football on EA and having the ability to upload a draft class to madden was dreamy. I think that would be the best thing ever in mfn someday :)
