I am guessing there is no reason/rhyme why 1 team gets claims versus another and really because of that and because of the message below i am posting this

Thanks.... in which case i have more question as I put the claims on bunch of players .... but did not got any...... while Browns who actually made to SuperBowl got the player......
No big deal just wanted to understand the process which seems to be even more confusing now.

With that how about giving reason/rhyme why a team got a claim on waiver

like for example
*wanted to play in cold climate
*wanted to play in hot climate
*wanted to play closer to family
*wanted to get more money
*wanted to play for a winner
*wanted to play for a better owner
*ETC.

and i think i know where you could put this if you were going to do this

the category titled NOTES after progress category

just place it there and everyone who does waiver wire would see it easily and really at least there would be a reason why a team got a waiver claim and i think everyone would be happy for that.

thanks

The player has no choice if he is picked up off the waiver wire. It is 100% based on the reverse seeding order discussed elsewhere, and if a team gets a player off the waiver wire then it goes to the end of the list. If a good team gets a waiver pickup, then they happened to be the lowest seed asking for that player when that player's number came up.

The reason hkpman7180 didn't get the claim was that his team finished with a better record than the Cleveland Browns. The waiver system claims players based on their record, not where a player wants to go and play. This would definitely be a cool implementation to players for the free agency process though!
