Help! My 275 lb DE is kitten powered.

All of my 80+ de rarely break through blocking, and when they do they always takes the wrong angle. Worse yet when they finally do make it to the qb they are able to share space. Like cuddly kittens they actually seem to encourage whoever they are snuggled with to relax and do well.

I just watched this play....
The other day a qb dropped straight back with a charging de coming right at him. Instead of easily sidestepping like every other qb does. This qb just bounced the de off his super man chest and then threw a twenty yard strike.

Watch just about any game and you'll see it repeated a dozen times over. DEs and blitzers always seem to target where the QB should be on a standard drop-back, never adjusting to where the QB inevitably rolls out towards until after they've reached their destination first, and QBs will frequently connect with their target through triple coverage 20+ yards down field across their shoulder whilst being tackled (tickled?) by three pass rushers. Yes, this does happen in the NFL too on occasion, but it'd take quite a lot more dedication to see what the %s are between here and real life. I'll say that it seems high here, but that may simply be confirmation bias speaking.

My star DE(hes only an 83) does just that. It causes him and others to have low sack totals where in theory I see what your saying. That is why I converted to a 3-4 game 4 last season. Its way off possibly favoring power rushers with some speed. I got a LDE with low rated pass rushing to talley 17 sacks in a season. They were mostly sacks on a QB scramble.

Noting %'s I am not sure if scramble sacks are charged to linemen. If so I could do a quick check for my team but seasons of league data here seem hard to aquire.
