In this league my team Carolina didn't get one of the top 2 seeds, Washington got it over my team when we had the same record, same conference record, and we beat them head to head.
3-way tiebreakers outside of the division get a bit hairy, since the three of you didn't all play each other the head-to-head gets pushed down. The tiebreaker in this case is probably common games (I looked at it up to that point, but am not taking the time to calculate that one by hand). The full list can be found here:
