Are there any publications that indicate details about what gets priority or just long pass play calls look at the long routes first etc?

No, it's not specific to the play call or anything either. JBD has said it's somewhat random on who will be first in the progression and that is weighted to favor the receivers higher in the depth chart. If I remember correctly.

I don't know if there is any documentation that explains how it all works. Most of what we know about pass progression has been learned on the boards.

It boils down to this:

1) The QB decides the primary receiver at random with heavier chances falling to the receivers running a route that matches the play call.

2) The QB locks on to that receiver until the receiver finishes the route.

3) The QB will only go to a second read after the primary receiver is finished running the route.

(This will change with the next code roll out as well.)

Don't forget about the fact that the 1st Read on a Play is also determined in part by 'random', for some weird reason.

FoF Eight just released with a great & simple play editor...
Something like that, coupled with smarter code, would elevate this game quite a bit.

$29.99...... it makes me wonder what jdb would charge for a complete product....

If JDB did do that i would imagine he would charge less for market value because i would think his goal would be not charge people outrageous price and also i would imagine he would think his product is so much better that really if he were to charge less he would still get more money in the end because everyone and their brother would want his product.

Though really kind of far fetched i think to even think what he would do because really this game isnt a complete product and it probably has miles to go to get there because really dont think it would be in the best interest of this game had more problems than the games out there because the whole point of putting a product there should be have more people buy yours than your competitors and have less problems with the game so you wont have to have like a patch like every week like some games do that are on the market.

btw just my 2 cents and anything more.

And if he Charged I would hope there would be a Free Pass or Heavy Discount for those who were already Members before he issued a Release Date. :D

JDB, myself, and a few others are actually old FOF players.

Just a thought but maybe a fix is to let you pick a primary target from game to game; the QBs go to guy. Do it from game to game which would also allow game planning where an opponent has a weak CB2 or SLB and then increasing the chance of targeting the receiver or TE on that side by a few percentage points. Its Belichickian to gameplan to exploit a weak player on the opposing defense.
