Not to mention I have RB's out run my defense with only a 50 speed. My guy's would run right up to the back of him, but rather then make the tackle they just follow him to the endzone.

This was addressed in version 0.4.3, so once your league rolls over it should stop.

The QB for the other team who kept hot reading has an intelligence of 52. So it's not Intelligence.

Gary Anglin with 52 Intelligence = https://cust33.myfootballnow.com/player/5439

But I have also seen hot reads called in the first couple plays of the game. There is no way the defense was called too many times at that point.

If it happens that early, it's due to their scouting your blitz.

Why not give them the full breakdown about how Hot Read logic works?

For instance, you can't set your game plan up to get more hot reads by calling more 113 and 203 passes against a team that exclusively runs corner blitzes because the game considers that as having an unbalanced playbook.

Or how, for whatever reason, your team won't call Hot Reads against a team that has "superior" players using the default weights regardless of game planning.

Or why don't you explain more about that uncovered receiver bit. For instance, most hot reads I've seen is when the RB is supposed to stay into block. In that case, he shouldn't ever be considered an uncovered receiver because he was never supposed to be a receiver on the play.

I'm sure there are more oddities, but I'd have to go back through the MFN-1 threads.
