Just for the record what gave me the boot in Victory was an actual totality post of *smiles* after I defeated another GM whom ousted me from his league after I did a long set-up and hadn't broken a rule nor even played a game for his league.

I'd do that again over and over.

Sometimes it's a single straw that breaks a Camels back.

If you think I booted you for one isolated misdemeanor over two years then you really don't know me at all.

I warned you on several occasions that I wasn't going to tolerate much more.

We don't like each other as you yourself stated.

It dates all the way back to your beginnings and the Legends dispersal draft.

Now we don't need to be around one another.

Why this thread continues is ridiculous. However, each negative post only simply pisses me off deeper.

...

However, several people supported me and that means everything to me. I'm watching closely. I'm kind but that's seen as weakness, therefore, I've got to be ready to have my Wolverine claws out, too.

I just wrote a new mean rule with the PM Warriors as inspiration. :)

I'll go off the thread now so this doesn't go on forever. lol

I've definitely stolen some of smirt's tactics that I've been able to parse out when it comes to roster building and game planning, turning my teams into (so far) perennial contenders. I respect his innovation and understanding of game mechanics and his competitive spirit.

That said, I think it was in poor taste to consistently exploit punt blocking issues in 0.4.5, and showed even poorer character to nuke his team's future in order to win a league championship or two, only to abandon it with all the team's future traded away. That doesn't prove skill, it just proves you're selfish. It reminds me of all the psychopathic CEOs (Amazon and Nestle come to mind) who will exploit every edge to ruin the environment and lower quality of life of their employees just so they can make a few extra dollars.

It's fine if you trade away your team's future to pick up a couple rings, as long as you stick around for the rebuild. But ruining a franchise's chances at even making playoffs for the next 3-6 seasons for whoever takes it over next demonstrates a lack of empathy and character that shouldn't be celebrated.

What is the point of this? Has anyone in MFN not had a difference of opinion with Smirt? All of this piling on says more about the poster than it does about Smirt. It's real easy to type something when many other people have already chimed in with their opinions.

Now before you all go and label me whatever, I have had past issues with Smirt myself. I won't go into detail because I'm not here to join the sock party. My point is that by now, you all should know who you're dealing with. This surprise that Smirt pulls Belichick type stuff in an attempt to win baffles me. This shock that Smirt acts the way he does makes no sense.

Say what you will about the guy but he is consistent. I get that some people don't want to play in any league's he's in, that's your personal choice. I don't get what the point of this long anti Smirt diatribe is. Do you think he'll change and play nice? Do you think he'll suddenly leave MFN because you guys don't like him?

He has said it as much himself, but all you guys are doing is fueling his fire. The more you whine and complain, the harder he will come at you. I don't condone all of his actions, but aside from the 1 league I run, it's not up to me to condone them.

The calling me a cancer on this thread is worse than anything I've done on MFN.

I'll second that.

I also want to point out that the people who are furious about you blocking the AI's punts are conspicuously silent about another use in the same league routinely blocking punts by other players, despite their complaints.

I just went back to remind myself. I remember now. Jacky got lit up with punt blocks in MFN-2.

It's Big Game hunting aka a witch hunt from KOB/Tosu/IHOP to throw me off my game and make me lose. I ignore them, tune it out and lock in each game to be at my optimum best.
