Not saying anything bad about the folks in 75, I just like the group I'm with in 86.

You already bailed on 75 so why would you be asked back? I think we would only ask people to be in league 75 if they wanted to anyways. This private league was started by a member of our league so don't pit the two against each other. It's just another league for dedicated owners.

Anytime you get a bunch of uber competetive owners and egos in the same league there's going to be some bumps in the road. I will say there's no public league that can come close to a private league filled with 32 gameplanning teams. It's not for everyone though, but i'll take a little drama here and there to be a part of a league like 75. I think once JDB starts unveiling more private leagues you will see an uptick in the interest cause there's nothing worse than having owners that don't gameplan or do anything. Most of the public leagues are filled with inactive owners. There's a lot of great owners on this game so i'm sure there will be plenty of top notch leagues to choose from.

Gees don't get ****-hurt .. I left due to time constraints.. which have now subsided.

Maybe the all powerful 75ers who have "blessed" us with a 2nd private league can please explain the rationale behind it. I've been told it's a feeder league .. I've been told it's not a feeder league. I know you have your little rules in 75 about participation and bad win/loss records where you eliminate ownership.

You say don't pit one against the other but where exactly are you going to pull replacement owners from?

**** hurt? are you serious? I was just stating that you don't need to worry about getting pulled over. If we want a new owner we can recruit from anywhere. The league was created to give more people the same experience we were having. You can't force anyone to leave a league.

If ai was any good , or actually helped a team then none of this would be a discussion . Routinely my ai driven teams are worse at offense. It's as simple as that. There nothing wrong with a CPU team winning a super bowl....well except for the probability of that happening under the current or future engine is nill to none.

I want to see happens, in these supposed easy leagues , the ones with no gameplanning , that are going to happen. I see a game ,but a way different game in general . One that one might expect to work but doesn't .

Egos and secrecy are not good for a beta game. Transparency between gamer and developers are key. Having reasons for booting someone is to prevent tanking to gain roster advantages. Neither 75 was built under that premise.....it was added after a clear tanker treated to jeopardize the integrity of the league. 86 was made up cause there more than 32 dedicated owners who wanted in......that's it.

If you want to make rules for a league buy one yourself and make up your own rules. None of this means anything cause we are all equals and have an equal opportunity to win here. Rules or no rules. People will change when they are ready....not when they are told, but change is the only constant in the universe .

I said for a long time that it is time for leagues of this nature . Ones with an out. Still, none of it happened until a user took their personal time out to make them. So I respect that energy given. Still, I want a league where the last place guy is automatically out. But, I have no time to even play.

The ones with the most time to invest in this me his game should be rewarded , but I still feel the ones investing time to make the game better is more valuable to me because of the security and longevity of mfn.

All that said I will suggest again that dominant users should donate thier master plans to the AI.

The only way I would play myself is if JDB let me have a standalone copy.

Surely guys on here could make better offensive gameplans than the AI. I do not think one would have to divulge too much info to top what the offense does. Say your TE offensive or your passing offense had a tag such as air raid or TE focus. No rules just a copy of the matrix and select 80 % of the plays to get some sort of diversity for newbies to try. I believe the pros will still be best at executing the plan.

Other things such as gameplay adjustment, overides, and rules/ rosters would be still up to them. I see other watching games and replicating anyway, but execution is key here and maybe a hand full do it on a regular basis with a variety of plans.

Cause to me as long as I have a few of the right guys it just takes me a copy and paste to have an offense score some points. Even defense could get some different looks, but some of those plans are quite safe stlyes, but they seem to work better.

I am just saying because I have noticed on defense the AI calls close to 20 plays that are all the same some times on defense . A cover two look would be nice also a Tampa 3.......straight man or a heavy zone or man blitz.

I mean I keep ending up with a 3-4 run focus coach.....probably the worst coach under the old code. It was tough to find a nice balance of plays to apply . It would be nice if I could just load up zone blitz defense. Not that it is possible to load separate offense and defensive plans, but just to give a chance for newbies to easily load up different plans.

5 things would go a long way to making the Ai more competitive on a consistent basis:

1. Re-sign FAs to the minimum they will accept instead of just giving them what they ask for (or more).
2. Ai coaches shouldn't select shotgun run plays in their weekly playbook. When I play an Ai team I know there are going to be a few of these "free" loss of yardage plays for my D.
3. Change the player weights used by the Ai to reflect what is actually important to a player's success, or at least closer than the current weighting systems being used.
4. Evaluate players based on their best position, not default position.
5. NEVER draft a P, K or FB in the first 4 rounds.

If everything else stayed the same and those 5 items changed, you would see the Ai become more competitive on a consistent basis immediately.
