How come a suppoused to be star QB play terrible???
Pass release 81. The rest of the relevant 100.
He is new Traded to the team and have played terrible the two matches he has played so far for the new team. He did throw SIX INTERCEPTIONS the first match and allowed to be sacked when he had targets he could have threw to... Not even my Rockie QBs (I play in more than one league) never throw that many interceptions... A bit less bad in the second match but still terrible.

I know of the hidden "skill" where volatility can change Max but are there any more such hidden?
Or are there "punnishment" when a player switch team (e g "not knowing" the plays in the new team)?
Or why does he play that bad???

(It CAN'T depend of the other players because we wonn the second match anyway!!! :)
10-3 after geting the points at a touchdown at a PUNT RETURN plus a field goal after the new QB almost only had handed the ball to RBs plus a few simple passes...

I think everyone just has bad days. I have QBs who play great one game and lousy the next. And, just like in real life, you can never predict when those bad days will happen. You just hope they won't happen for the important games. ;)

Well. He had played one terrible and one very bad and none good or even average for me.
And some odd he play terrible DIRECT after he switched to my team.
Perhaps he play terrible because I paid drafts for him, so they will become more worth :)

It might be a playbook familiarity thing.

Although I've had lower rated QB's out play some of my higher rated QB's on occasion.
I tend to use the ratings as a guide and bank on the game film.

Yes. That would make sence.
That's why I asked :) wondering if the ME have such factor. IF so, I just need to be patient and the problem will solve itself.

Another possibility is that the problem lies with the receivers and linemen. If they aren't up to snuff, then anybody you get will ****. Also, especially with quarterbacks, experience counts for a lot.

I agree with this 100%. I've had a qb **** for a season. The off season I added pure speed at WR and he had over 6000 yards passing and twice as many td's

1) Familiarity
2) Play calling
3) Defensive strategies
4) Receiving corps

Speaking of good QBs playing badly, please check out this guy: https://badcompany.myfootballnow.com/player/1651. When I look at his Ratings, I think "Tom Brady", but too often he performs like JaMarcus Russell. He's got two 3-pick games and a 4-pick game. In 12 games he has 24 touchdowns, but 15 interceptions and 5 fumbles. What is there in this guy's Ratings that say "you are a turn-over machine"? Or is it just bad luck/play selection?
