Improve accuracy of owner records in league

Instead of crediting the whole season to an owner that takes over halfway and had nothing to do with the previous games how about just counting their record since the day they took over the team.

-1 wouldn't that take all the fun out of taking over a team at halfway point and getting credit for winning the previous games , maybe winning in the playoffs and super bowl if they make it that far??

Btw the NBA has same problem giving Steve Kerr the credit for winning the games that Luke Walton won for Golden State and you could make a case other sports have had the same problem too so in a way pretty much is realistic and fair not that it should be like that way .

also really there is other problems with this game and really if you made a list of things to do this one I would think would be at the very bottom of the list.

It sounds like the Super Bowl would still be credited to him but previous wins would not.

So if I take over a 4-4 team and take it to 12-4 and the Super Bowl, I would be credited with the playoff and Superbowl victories as well as an 8-0 record, and the 4-4 from before wouldn't count for or against me.

Well what worries me is that if you did take that team to a 12-4 record even though you only got credit for the 8-0 record , the playoff wins and the super bowl would that mean really that 4-4 that your team had before you took it over wouldn't count for you in that somehow someway the standings would reflect that ??

Like lets say a team who won 12-4 yet gets credit for 1 , 2 or 3 more wins than you and they should have missed the playoffs yet they get to go to the playoffs instead of you because the owner had more wins or got more credit for wins than you.

I just think if you start to open that paradox box there is always a chance it is not going to END WELL for all the parties involved.

What???

I"m pretty sure by the games not counting lellow2011 didn't mean not counting in the standings... if you click on the manager profile for each manager in your league you can see his All Time League Record. That's what he's talking about I think. At the end of the season my team can be 12-4 but I shouldn't be listed with a 12-4 all time record if I was only 8-0 for the duration of the time I was in the league.

This, Chipped and WarEagle being more experience players knew exactly what I was talking about. Obviously the standings would not be effected in anyway, just all time league record for that owner.

and to be honest I'm not sure this All time Record is so accurate. It has me 11/12...

and I'm suppose to be 22/24. Exactly the half I don't know why

There are a LOT of stats in this game that are not very accurate.
