Draft Picks Dialogue Box

On your team homepage you have a link for Future Draft Picks, I think it would be useful to have the cap room needed displayed at the foot of each seasons column.
I'm no capoligist and know there are others like me that would find this useful.

Im confused. On the team page you have whats needed for that current draft. For future drafts, the only thing you will possibly know is future salary cap and what you have used. Because the picks are slotted, there is no way to know how much you will be spending.

That only appears when the season is over.
As far as I'm aware draft picks are valued in monitory terms, for example ; Pick 1.1 costs $400k more than pick 1.2 etc...

i think it's also weighted on projected quality of the player available at the time of the pick, so that would mean the reason it doesn't show till end of season is because the draft class hasn't been generated till then so you have no idea what the quality of players at any specific spot in the draft will be

The draft picks have a set value but TAFIV is correct in that you don't know where you will be picking until the draft order is set at the end-of-season stage. So it's not really possible to predict the value of future seasons' draft picks (although I suppose a range could be presented)

So pick 1.1etc.. won't be the same for all players?

Pick 1.1 will be the same for all players - but you don't know which pick you have beyond the draft that is currently running. I.e, if it's 2016 late free agency, your 2017 first round pick could be anywhere from 1.1 to 1.32, which you won't know until after the end of season stage - and there is a pretty big difference between the 1.1 and 1.32 salary.

Right ok, I get that and I get that it cannot be added to the draft picks box, so is there somewhere where we could see how much each pick is valued at, like a spreadsheet or something?

The allocation draft has the same salary for each pick in each round, but not the regular draft.
