I agree.

We should have a 'GM' that we can simply set to 'BPA' if we aren't going to be able to set a Queue... or that should just be the Default really. Obviously Non-Kicker BPA, or you will end up with 6 Kickers in 7 Rounds.

As I said... if I end up with 5 LGs that's on me, but at least I can use 1 or 2 of these guys on the Roster... not have a 42 DT in the 3rd Round when there are literally 100 guys better available at that time. It wasn't even the best DT available... there was no rhyme or reason to the selection. At least if it was the best DT I could have said "Ah, AI went for Need... at least that makes sense", but it's not a Need Pick when you pick the 28th Best DT Available at the time.

There is an update to the autoqueue that will deploy after the next MFN-1 draft has proven that there are no more issues. It was almost ready to go and was being used during the end of the last MFN-1 draft, but it failed to correctly do some post-draft logic that messed up the sim schedule.

When using the auto-queue, the best method is to adjust the weights and then make sure the top 10 or so players are in keeping with your desires. If you don't want to select a certain position, have the value near zero. If you set the # of players you are going for to something other than zero, those positions will be chosen above other positions, and then once you have met that quota that position will be in the same priority as the other positions. If you have selected a position it should reduce its priority accordingly.

A couple of issues I've noticed that happen: 1) The user never gets in to set their queue. The queue is automatically generated when you load the war room, but if you never go in there then you don't have a queue. (This will be fixed with the next update) 2) Setting all priority to 0 (which should no longer be allowed) caused you to pick a random player because no position had any score. 3) Confusion over how the weights/priority actually work, which is probably my fault for not giving enough instruction. (FWIW, I hand-pick rounds 1-3 usually and then just keep my auto-queue where I like it for the rest of the draft)

I probably need to write a detailed primer on how the auto-draft logic works, especially once the new update gets pushed into all leagues. The only reason it hasn't is because I don't want to make a non-beta league a guinea pig when there is still a possibility for something to go wrong.
