Practice

I'd like the ability to actually practice certain plays / situations, or even a scrimmage.

I don't even care if it helps with the knowledge of the playbook or not.

I would just like an opportunity to see how certain things work on the field without having to add it to my gameplan and then hope it actually gets used in a game in the situation I want.

I have actually seen other sports sims offer scrimmages on off days between teams in other leagues. This would be helpful in checking out are teams if we change things up before our next game.Even check out are rookies on the first team. You would want too make it so guys would not get injured in scrimmages. You would hate too lose someone before a big game in a useless scrimmage game.

a good way to do this is make midweek a practice day instead of an off day. basicaly you run the play against as your offence vs your defence. It would also be like a true scouting of the offence and defence i guess.

Sorry but I like the way this game works and still has the element of chance left in it, if we end up micro-managing every aspect of the game it will kill what originally drew us here in the first place.
What next , design our own players?

I agree with you Gus!

PLUS:

Playing the game is not enough, for most. There are some who screwed up any semblance of fair play when they made trades for draft picks for the first two seasons amongst themselves and others for players that have since been re-tooled in their ratings to be more lifelike in their ratings. And Yes, the player ratings have changed, pretty drastically. Thus not nearly the amount of "Superstars" as in the beginning of this great game.

Until these STEROID-ed players are removed from those that exploited this oversight, the same teams will dominate the leagues that exists now. Just as they are now.

You know who you are and we know who you are. You know what you did. After you get your teams assembled, just complain about the ranking system and fix it so no one else can get players as good as yours. I believe this has happened already.

It's a **** shame we are looking to limit trading now, because a few take advantage of an oversight of the designers of the game in the player ratings system.

We all recognized it needed fixed, too bad, the wolves got there first, then cried for revisions to the rating system, after the trading deeds was done. Is that NOT the way it went??

Please correct me if I'm wrong! And explain, please?
