I already have the ability to create a league that is invitation only, i.e. doesn't show up in the "available teams" listing. The only real issue I see with that is getting 32 players invited to the league might be a long shot.

I tend to agree as well, there are also going to be those owners who just enjoy playing the game but aren't good at it.

At 43-32 after 4 and ahalf seasons I'm out? A 57.3 winning percentage and only one divional champ.....I might have to rethink my approach. Would it be better to Quit then start under a new name and build teams like my NJ team from allocation? But this time pick weaker opponents to play in my divison? IDK? I want to play the best, but since I dont game the game I'm out. I have been for a top league for months, but why not just designate a current one?

I don't see where you can tell what your overall win percentage is.

I know you can see it for an individual league you are in.

Is there a place to see your overall win percentage, including leagues you are no longer a part of?

If the qualification criteria proposed in a previous post was adopted I can see this causing problems in other leagues. As Mrfakename says, if a 60% win average is needed to take part some owners might decide to leave their less successful teams or leave competitive leagues to get their %age up. That couldn't be good for MFN.

I'm leaning toward longevity (# of completed seasons, most recent within the past 2 months) as being the only qualification right now.

I also like the idea of converting an existing league instead of making a new one, the only downside to that would be not getting an allocation draft.

I just added up the reg. season records for my three teams. Just Math.

That's obvious.

I've been in 12 leagues. Currently in 9. That means there are 3 that I am no longer in, and therefore can't see my win percentage (or record) for those leagues. I know I could go to each past season in those leagues and manually add it up. That wasn't my question.

So, I guess the answer to my question is no. Thanks.

I prefer the idea of starting over with a new league / allocation draft. Otherwise, what do you do with the owners currently in the league you'd convert? Surely not all of them would qualify for one of these leagues. Are you going to kick them out?

I think it's best to start a new one from scratch so everyone starts out on an even playing field.

As far as deciding who gets in, how about this:

Everyone who is interested in joining this league has their name added to a list of interested owners. Then, the other owners can vote on each member they think should be included. The top 32 vote recipients get into the first league. Everyone else goes on a waiting list, and as owners leave (or are asked to leave), the new owners are voted on by the remaining league members.

I think the current owners probably have a better idea of who the good owners are than you (JDB), simply because they pay more attention to their leagues than you do.
